Business & Residential Snow Removal
After a significant snow fall, our company will send a professional to your house to shovel your walks and plow your driveway.
Generally, salt lowers the freezing point of water from 32 degrees Fahrenheit to some degrees lower. This largely depends on the prevailing weather conditions. We use rock salt when the sun is shining and the temperatures outside are at least 15 degrees Fahrenheit. This makes the existing ice to melt and prevents additional ice from forming.
Our snow removal experts spread rock salt on your frozen grounds which include driveways, patios, porches, and sidewalks. At extremely low temperatures, calcium chloride works best as an ice control measure. However, it’s relatively expensive and we only use it when temperatures are inevitably low. At times we use sodium chloride which is cost friendly especially when melting ice at temperatures slightly below zero.
We have our own reservoir of rock salt and this means we do not depend on last minute purchases that can be unreliable.
If you have a larger driveway and happen to live in areas that experience frequent snow falls, snow blowing maybe the best solution for you. We have high-end electric snow blowing machines that can get the job done perfectly well and within a short time. We don’t use gasoline powered snow blowers because these produce emissions which are not environmentally friendly.
We use ergonomic shovels particularly when the snow is wet and heavy. This helps in preventing injuries to our workmen. All our professionals are insured and this is important because snow removal is a risky exercise which exposes workmen to injuries. We wouldn’t want you to have problems because of workers who got injured on the job. We handle all this and leave you with peace of mind.
